UPCOMING EVENTS!

The Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus is excited to announce our upcoming Christmas show, “The Magic of Christmas”. For our 36th season, the Chorus travels to a mall on Christmas Eve and helps the local Children’s Hospital by performing an impromptu concert.

While at the mall, the Chorus meets up with the ever so adorable Chipmunks while shopping at the pet boutique; children delighting at the toy store singing “My Christmas List”, and while at the Bakery, they meet the bakers singing “Christmas Cookies” and chasing a giant runaway gingerbread man. The first half of the show ends with our dancers swinging in “Dig That Crazy Santa Claus”, the chorus singing “Hey, Mister Santa!”, and of course, Jolly Old Saint Nicholas himself meeting and greeting the children.

Our second half starts with the Chorus realizing the true meaning of Christmas and the Chorus singing “Christmas Is Being With Your Friends” and “Grown Up Christmas List” with a beautiful solo by Joy Bynum.

The Chorus‘s religious section includes such numbers as “Mary Had A Baby” and “Love Came Down at Christmas” with instrumental accompaniment.

Our concert dates for The Christmas Show will be Friday, Dec. 9th, at 7:30 PM, Saturday, Dec. 10th, at 3:00 and 7:30 PM, and Sunday, Dec. 11th, at 3:00 PM. Our performances are held at The Fort Walton Beach Municipal Auditorium. Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for children under 12 years of age, and $12.00 for seniors 60 and older.
